The Doctors

This is a story I wrote about what happened today.
Today I went to the doctor to get a check-up. First we got to the doctor and parked in the most convenient parking place there was. We got out and stepped into the building. I could feel the nice and cool air-conditioning hit my face as we walked down the hallway. We opened the door that led to our destination. I could see many kids, fish tanks, chairs, and books. I spotted the front desk, we walked over to the desk. They said it would be a wait and they handed us some paper work. My sister and I were both getting a check-up at the same time so my mom filled out my sister's paper work. I was getting bored as I spotted an interesting book. The title was "The Big Book Of Insects." I grabbed the book off the table and started flipping through the pages just looking at the pictures. I looked up and heard a baby crying "ugg" I said to myself how annoying. "Campbell and Devon Wilks" a nurse said. It was time to go into the other room. We walked, first they weighed us both I weighed 62 pounds overall. After that they measured our height. I was '4' 10, then they took our blood preasure im not sure what mine was. A nurse said " time for your eye and hearing check" I walked in the room, it was a small room with a small table a stool to sit and one of those machines that tested your hearing and sight. I sat down on the stool. First they tested my hearing then they tested my sight. She lead me out of the small room to my mom. We went into another room. I had to put on paper clothing and stuff and was really weird but fun to wear. We waited in that same room for about 30 minutes while my sister was being checked in the other room. After the long wait the doctor came in her name was Doctor LeDuc. She was really nice and explained everything I needed to know. She said I didn"t need to get any shots. I was relieved but I still had to get my finger pricked for blood samples. I need to take a medicine too because I have a bump in my neck that isn't supposed to be there so the medicine is supposed to help that. Campbell had to get an inhaler because she has so called "Wheezing" what ever that is! After she told us I had to get my finger pricked. A nurse person came in holding a tray with stuff on it the stuff was the needle and cloth to prick my finger. She sat the tray down. She took a cloth and wiped my middle finger so it was clean. She took something off the tray and it shot my finger. It stung a little bit but it was over quikley! I was glad it was over. She gave us all of our perscriptions and we left but before we left I got a sticker and a tattoo the sticker had some kind of Angle cat it was weird. The tattoo was a giraffe and a mouse playing soccer it was weird too. We left the doctors and we went to a Mexican restraunt called Los Bravos. It was so good I had an enchilada.
